As I was coming towards the end of my University degree, I was feeling that my life was lacking direction. I had practiced yoga for a number of years & decided to take the plunge into teaching. I completed a Yoga Alliance 200 hour course in 2013 & began teaching around the Nottinghamshire area.

I believe yoga is a great way of helping individuals through the challenges of work & day to day life. Not only does it have the obvious physical benefits, but yoga has huge emotional & mental wellbeing benefits too. I aim to stress these benefits throughout the classes & help the individuals to gain a positive awareness about their physical body & their mind.

I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga because I love the way the asanas (postures) flow from one to the next in synchronisation with the breath. Each class will include Sun Salutations to get us warmed up and connected and then flowing onto standing, balancing, inversions and seated asanas. All of the classes that I teach are suitable for complete beginners to the more experienced yogi.
